Meet 1997 Award Winner Mrs. Gayle N. White-Wallace:

Gayle received her Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Temple University in 2000. She then became a middle school teacher for the NYC Board of Education and subsequently a sixth grade regular and special education teacher in her hometown of Mount Vernon, NY. She loves teaching and has taught in New York, Pennsylvania, and Accra, Ghana. Since graduating from Temple, Mrs. Wallace earned two Master’s Degrees, in Curriculum and Instruction and in School Administration and Supervision and an Education Doctorate in Executive Leadership (Ed.D.) from St. John Fisher College. |
