Martha Browne, aka Mary Browne grew up in the George Street area. She later joined her only sister Rose in St Thomas, Virgin Islands and later moved onto the Bronx, New York where she joined Butler Memorial United Methodist Church.

Thank You from Mrs. Beth Romeo

“Thank You” from Mrs. Beth Romeo who was chosen Mother of the Year 2011 but was unable to attend the event last year.   She was able to be present at this year’s 2012 event.

Dorine S. O’Garro was born in Montserrat, spent her first scholastic year at the Kinsale Primary School.  She migrated with her family to St. Kitts, where she attended St. Johnson’s Village School and the Catholic School in Basseterre.

Johnny, a native Montserratian  grew up  under the strict guidance of his mother, affectionately known as Nurse Wyke.  Johnny was the second child of his late parents.

Sarah Jane Elizabeth Romeo, was born on the island of Montserrat and raised by her extended family.  The person who most influenced her life was "Mamma" her grandmother, Margaret (Maggie) Wade Dyer.
